On December 25, in the Republic Square, at 6.00pm Gagik Beglaryan, the Mayor of Yerevan burnt the lights of the main Christmas tree which is symbolizing 2010 Year. Then whole city glittered festively. New Year’s Day holiday gala and program began in the Republic Square under the luxurious lights of the main Christmas tree. Santa Claus and Snow Maiden saluted the presents.
